Welcome to The Crown
Reopened in November 2003 after extensive refurbishment, the choice of dining areas promises conviviality and varying degrees of cosiness and privacy, whatever your mood. The Crown sources, wherever possible, local produce for a regularly evolving menu and fishboard.
The Crown Stoke by Nayland, an historic privately owned village Inn has a reputation for making everyone feel welcome - without pretension - simply a passion for good service, food, wine and real ale. To complete the picture a boutique Hotel has been created - eleven stylish luxury en-suite bedrooms individually designed and furnished.
Stoke by Nayland, is a picturesque village built on a hill above the Stour and Box river valleys on the Suffolk/Essex border. The 120-foot tower of St Mary's Church is a local landmark and features in the works of the 18th Century English landscape artist John Constable, who immortalised the surrounding countryside of The Dedham Vale, which is now designated 'an area of outstanding natural beauty.
